EU Organic Certification for Spanish Food: Audited, Numbered, Verifiable
Certifications exist to satisfy compliance teams, not to decorate packaging. Every claim We Are Bio makes about its products — organic, non-GMO, vegan, free-from — is backed by documentation that buyers can verify independently. This page lists our credentials with the certificate numbers, issuing bodies and regulatory references your import or purchasing department needs.
EU Organic (Euro-leaf)
Our full product range is certified organic under EU Regulation (EU) 2018/848, the current European framework governing organic production, processing and labelling. Certification covers the entire supply chain from agricultural cultivation through processing to final packaging.

What the certification guarantees

Most products in our range contain 99-100% organic ingredients. CAAE conducts audits annually, covering grower practices, processing facilities, ingredient sourcing and packaging operations.
Products carrying the Euro-leaf logo meet organic import requirements across all EU member states and qualify for organic shelf labelling in the UK under post-Brexit equivalence arrangements. For retail buyers, this means your compliance team receives a certificate with a verifiable number — not a logo with a promise behind it. For distributors, it means every product in a mixed pallet ships with the documentation your downstream customers require.
Non-GMO Verified
All We Are Bio products are verified free from genetically modified organisms. This is not a separate certification — it is guaranteed through our EU Organic compliance, which prohibits GMOs at every stage of the supply chain: seed selection, cultivation, processing and packaging.
CAAE audits enforce this prohibition annually. No separate GMO testing is required because the organic standard already mandates a complete GMO-free chain, and our certifying body verifies compliance at each audit.
Markets that require Non-GMO labelling — including several major European retail chains and UK grocers — can list our products under that claim without additional certification cost or testing overhead. The organic audit trail already covers it.
Vegan Friendly
Every product in our range is entirely plant-based. No animal-derived ingredients, processing aids or by-products are used at any stage of production.
- Olive oil and avocado oil are mechanically pressed without animal-derived filtering agents
- Preserves are made from fruit and plant-based ingredients, with no gelatin, dairy or animal-derived thickeners
- Brined products (olives, artichokes) use water and sea salt — nothing else
This is a self-declared claim based on full ingredient transparency and supply chain control. We do not hold a third-party vegan certification because the declaration is verifiable through our published ingredient lists and production documentation.
Retailers and distributors serving vegan markets can position these products confidently. The absence of animal-derived inputs at every stage — not just in the final ingredient list, but in processing — means the claim withstands the level of scrutiny that informed consumers and specialist retailers apply.
Laboratory & Traceability
Independent laboratory testing is completed before every batch is released for sale. No product ships without a confirmed test result.

Certificates of analysis are available on request for any batch currently in stock or shipped within the past five years. We archive lab samples and maintain full lot-level traceability records linking every finished product to its source farm, harvest date, processing facility and test results.
When a compliance team, retailer or end customer asks where a product came from and how it was tested, we answer with specifics — not generalities. Traceability at this level reduces your risk and speeds up onboarding with retail partners who require documented quality systems.

- Gluten — entire range is gluten-free
- Refined sugar — preserves are sweetened with organic agave syrup instead of refined cane sugar; no artificial sweeteners
- Palm oil — not present in any product at any production stage
- Artificial colours — no synthetic colouring agents
- Artificial flavours — no synthetic flavouring
- Artificial preservatives — shelf life is achieved through traditional methods (brining, natural acidity, vacuum sealing)
- Hydrogenated fats — not present in any product
