Gift Sets
Five boxes, five ways to begin a conversation with the collection.
The idea behind the gift sets
A gift should arrive as an idea, not a list. Each of our five boxes is built around a single thought — a first encounter, a private tasting, a chef's shelf, a family Sunday, a festive table. We pack them by hand in Madrid; each piece is chosen because it belongs beside the next.
What you give is not an assortment. It is an introduction to a way of cooking, in the form a Spanish house would offer it to a friend.
How a box is built
Composition before contents
We begin with the occasion, not the inventory. A first taste of the house calls for one oil, one preserve, one sauce — three voices, three regions, one reading. A chef's shelf wants the working pieces, the sizes a serious kitchen will actually pour from.
Only when the shape of the box is clear do we choose the jars and bottles to fill it. Nothing is added to round the price. Nothing is omitted to flatter the margin.
The materials
Linen, card, hand
The boxes are rigid card lined in unbleached linen, closed with a single ribbon. No plastic windows, no foam inserts, no logo across the lid. The lid lifts and the contents are simply there, the way a tray of small things on a kitchen table is simply there.
Each piece is wrapped in tissue, set in its place by hand, and accompanied by a printed card — the names, the regions, the order in which to taste. The whole box is built in a single afternoon, in our workshop in Madrid, by people whose names we know.
Five boxes, five intentions
The Introduction, for someone meeting the house for the first time. The Tasting, for a private flight at the table. The Kitchen, for the everyday cook who pours generously. The Chef's Shelf, for the serious cook who measures by instinct. The Family Sunday, for the long table that already knows how to share. Five intentions, one workshop, the same care.
The collection
On the shelf
An object before it is opened
A box should look like something before it becomes something. Closed, ours sit on a hall table the way a book does — quietly, with nothing to prove. Opened, they unfold into a small reading of the house: oils, preserves, sauces, olives, each in its place.
For corporate gifts, weddings, end-of-year, or simply a friend who deserves more than flowers — we can compose a box to your brief, with a card in your hand if you wish.
